ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Alexandria Police Department says teenager Jasmine Block, who was missing for nearly a month before being found on Tuesday, was kidnapped.

Police say three men have been arrested in connection with the 15-year-old's abduction; Thomas Barker, 32, of Carlos, Steven Powers, 20, of Mankato and Joshua Holby, 31, of Carlos.

Investigators say at around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon Jasmine was found running through a field in Grant County near Thompson Lake toward a resident.

The girl identified herself and and asked the man to call 911.

Jasmine told responding officers she had been abducted.

Police say their investigation revealed that Barker approached Jasmine outside her house the night of August 8th saying he needed help with something.

Jasmine knew Barker so she agreed to help and got into his vehicle.

Police say Barker drove to his residence in Carlos where he restrained the girl with zip ties, assaulted her and threatened her with weapons.

Police say Holby lives with Barker and took part in the assaults, as did Powers, who arrived two weeks after the abduction.

On Tuesday, police say the men took Jasmine to a cornfield and foreclosed property in Grant County, and for the first time, left her alone, as they went for lunch.

Jasmine ran for help, knocking on doors and eventually swimming across part of Thompson Lake to find someone who could help her.

The three suspects are being held on probable cause for kidnapping, false imprisonment and assault.
