ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Another bitterly cold night is shaping up in the St. Cloud area from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

National Weather Service meteorologist Tony Zaleski says a Wind Chill Warning is posted from midnight until noon Wednesday. Wind chill values are expected to sink to between 30 below and 40 below zero, with the overnight low bottoming out near 18 below zero.

That's well below the averages for this time of year. The average high is 26, with a normal low of 9. 

Slightly moderating temperatures are expected in the coming days. Highs could be in the teens by late this
