FOLEY, MN (KNSI) - Two Benton County government buildings were evacuated Thursday as authorities searched for bombs that turned out to not exist.

The Government Center and the Benton County Courts Facility building were the targets of a caller who phoned in the threat to the Government Center's main switchboard just after 1:30. The sheriff's office took the threat seriously and, along with Foley firefighters, they combed through the two buildings, but didn't find anything suspicious.

The "all clear" was given around 2:30 and people were allowed back in those two buildings.
