ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The coldest temperatures of the season are moving into central Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says the coldest temperatures since last March will be felt across the region Monday and Monday night.

Temperatures are expected to hold in the mid 20s, but gusty northwest winds up to 25 mph will make it feel even colder.

Skies will clear and winds will diminish on Monday night, allowing temperatures to fall into the single digits in central Minnesota.

St. Cloud's forecast low is 6 degrees. The record low for the date is four below zero set in 1986. The normal low is 24.

Temperatures will warm up again by mid-week.
