ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - An early morning blaze engulfed a barn in rural central Minnesota Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the barn fire off 260th Street in Munson Township, outside of Richmond a little before 3:44 a.m.

When they arrived on-scene, the barn owned by Ronald and Sherry Rolfes was fully engulfed by flames.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze.

There were no injuries reported and there weren't any animals in the barn at the time of the fire, only farm equipment was lost.

No word on what caused the fire.
