ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - An Eden Valley man was stabbed several times by a suspect dressed in all black who fled the scene.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the victim frantically called 911 at 1:30 p.m. Friday, saying he had been stabbed several times by a man he didn't know.

When law enforcement arrived at the residence on the 200 block of Sauer Street in Eden Valley, they found the victim laying on the driveway with multiple small wounds above his right hip.

The victim was taken to the Paynesville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, around 180 pounds and wearing all black clothing.

The sheriff's office says he was last seen running northeast towards Highway 22.
