ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A viewing party has been set so people can gather and cheer on a local woman as she competes in the Rio Olympics.

The 2016 Olympics mark the second straight Olympic Games for BMX champion Alise Post, who finished 12th in London four years ago.

The 25-year-old from St. Cloud graduated from Tech High School where she was also an outstanding gymnast.

The Marcus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park is holding viewing parties as Post hits the track this week.

Race times are Wednesday morning at 11:30, and Friday morning at 11:30 with the Finals at 1 p.m.

The viewing parties are free and open to the public.

Concessions will be open.

Also, the Boulder Tap House will be holding viewing parties and offering happy hour prices on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
