ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Highway 15 in St. Cloud was temporarily closed twice Friday night in a span of about four hours.

First a three car chain reaction crash on Highway 15 South closed down from 12th Street North to Veterans Drive.

Just before 4:30 p.m. an SUV and a pickup truck were stopped at a red light on Highway 15 and Veterans, when a car driven by 60-year-old David Boushek from Waite Park rear ended the truck, pushing it into the back of the SUV.

Boushek was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There were four people in the truck at the time of the crash, one was injured and taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Then a few hours later just down the road, Highway 15 was shut down between 3rd Street North and Veterans Drive because of a tire fire that was burning under the bridge.

Highway 15 remained closed as MnDOT inspected the bridge.
