BELGRADE, Minn. (KNSI) Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision on Highway 55 in western Stearns County.

The State Patrol says a car was westbound when the driver lost control and slid into the path of an oncoming suburban.

The two occupants in the car were taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. They're identified as 41 year-old Debra Fraser and four year-old Alexander Fraser of Willmar.

The suburban was driven by a New London woman. She and a passenger were not injured.

The Patrol says the highway was icy at the time of the crash. Police from Belgrade and Brooten assisted on that call.
