ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Minnesota Department of Transportation has completed its Highway 23 Road Safety Audit.

The findings of the audit, which looked at improving the safety of Highway 23 from Foley to Milaca, will be presented on September 11 at an open house at Foley City Hall.

The audit is part of the Highway 23 safety improvement effort, which is part of the statewide Toward Zero Deaths initiative focusing on Highway 23 through Stearns, Benton and Mille Lacs County (from Richmond to Milaca).

The Road Safety Audit is focusing on Highway 23 in Benton and Mille Lacs Counties.

People attending the open house will hear directly from MnDOT officials about the safety audit and will be able to ask questions.

If you can't make it to the open house, the Highway 23 Road Safety Audit will be online here by September 8th.
