ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - People come from all around to enjoy the Summertime By George concerts at St. Cloud's Lake George, but, Japan?

Well, a group of high school girls from Tokyo at Wednesday night's concert wasn't in town specifically for Summertime By George, they're learning English over the summer at the College of Saint Benedict.

"We had a big presentation today, so we are relaxing now in our free time," said Ayaka Horita.

Ayaka previously lived in San Francisco and speaks English rather well.

She says she and her group was loving the music of Big Toe and the Jam.

"So many famous songs are going on, and there's dancing, it's so much fun."

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis was chatting with the group.

"From Tokyo to St. Cloud, it's a nice connection."

St. Cloud has a sister city in Japan, Akita, which is about seven hours north of Tokyo.
