ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says a homeowner was injured when he fought back against the people who were breaking into his home.

It happened around 10 a.m. Friday in the 152nd block of 59th Street in Becker Township.

Investigators say Robert Suess, 57, called 911 to say his home was being burglarized as he was inside.

The sheriff's office says Suess got into a fight with the suspects and was hit in the face with the butt of a rifle, suffering a minor injury.

The suspects then fled the scene.

The homeowner was able to give police descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle.

The sheriff's office says a short pursuit ensued with the suspect's vehicle and the suspect's bailed out and ran.

Over the next four hours all four suspects were arrested.

They are, 26-year-old Tevon Scott of Burnsville, 25-year-old James Whilay of Minneapolis, 22-year-old Chazmere Dooley, of Bloomington and 19-year-old Ashley Carlson of Crystal.

All four are in the Sherburne County Jail on pending charges of assault and burglary.
