ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A man was run over in the Rollie's parking lot over the weekend.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrived on scene around 12:30 Sunday morning to find Benjamin Evenson, 23, of St. Cloud, lying in the parking lot near a pickup truck owned by Jeffrey Marsh, 49, of Cynthia, Kentucky.

The sheriff's office says Marsh was backing out of a parking spot when he noticed he ran over something.

Investigators say Marsh got out of his truck and discovered that he had backed over Evenson, who was unconscious near the rear passenger-side tires.

Paramedics responded and evaluated Evenson, who had since regained consciousness.

Paramedics were unable to find any indication of life-threatening injuries on him, and he refused further medical attention and went home with friends.

The sheriff's office says deputies were unable to find any evidence suggesting Evenson came into contact with the body or bumpers of the truck, suggesting he was likely on the ground at the time of the accident.

Deputies determined that Marsh was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
