ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A man is accused of stabbing a man in the stomach over the weekend.

Police and Benton County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue in Foley on Sunday at 12:03 am.

Police say the victim, 31-year-old Gregory Carlin of Foley, he had gotten into a fight with 19-year-old Brandon Lee Cunningham of Foley.

Carlin told officers that Cunningham stabbed him with a knife and fled the scene.

Carlin was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. KNSI asked for an update on his current condition but one wasn't provided.

Cunningham was later found and arrested.

He was taken to the Benton County Jail on a charge of 1st degree assault.
