LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) A Morrison County judge has denied a motion for a new trial for 30 year-old Keon "Bird" Mangun of Minneapolis.

Mangun was found guilty by a jury of third-degree murder in the death of 19 year-old Miranda Gosiak of Little Falls. Gosiak died of a heroin overdose on February 28, 2012 in Little Falls.

Morrison County Attorney  Brian Middendorf says the heroin that killed Gosiak was sold by Mangun to another man--Brandon Bedford--in north Minneapolis the day before Gosiak died.

Judge Conrad Freeberg ffound there was "sufficient evidence for ther jury to conclude that on the day Gosiak died, Bedford gave her heroin purchased from the defendant, and she died as a result."

Mangun will be sentenced at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. Sentencing guidelines call for a 134 month prison sentence.
