ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is gearing up for another trade mission - this one to China.

The Department of Employment and Economic Development noted the trip in a news release Wednesday about state export initiatives. According to the agency, the governor's trip is tentatively planned for late spring or early summer of next year.

Dayton says he hopes missions like these "are good opportunities to open doors'' in expanding export markets for state businesses and agricultural producers.

This fall, Dayton led a trade trip to South Korea and Japan. His contingent included business, agricultural and academic leaders interested in projects abroad.
