ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - St. Cloud gave the go-ahead for a new brewery and taproom.

The council voted unanimously to allow Pantown Brewing Company to build the brewery and taproom at 408 37th Avenue North.

The development plan will allow the company to produce 350 barrels of beer a year.

The application states the brewery and taproom will be open from 4 until 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

An anticipated opening date hasn't been announced.

The brewery will replace a commercial coffee bean roaster, Muggsy's Beans.

The coffee company says they're looking at a space near Cooper Avenue North and Division Street and are in the process of negotiating a lease with the building's owner.

They will remain in their current location until the end of September.

Muggsy's Beans plans on being open for business on Monday, October 2nd (or thereabouts) in a new location.
