ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A pair of Thanksgiving Day fires kept crews in the area busy on Thursday.

The first fire was reported just after 1:30 pm at 23575 University Road in Krain Township. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office along with fire departments from Albany, Holdingford and Freeport, along with Melrose Ambulance, were called to a fire in a woodshed that spread to a shed and barn on the property. There was no mention of any injuries.

A second fire was reported just after 4:30 Thursday afternoon at  29954  Stearns County Road 10 in Farming Township. It was a residential fire that is believed to have started in a utility room.

Most of the damage was contained to that area of the home. The utility room had heavy damage and the rest of the home had smoke and water damage. The St. Martin and Chain of Lakes Fire Departments were called to that fire.
