ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) A grand jury has decided against charging two St. Paul police officers in the fatal shooting of a drug suspect in October.

The Ramsey County attorney's office says the grand jury determined Wednesday probable cause did not exist to charge either officer.

Forty-one-year-old Victor Gaddy of St. Paul was shot and killed Oct. 27 during a police drug stop in St. Paul's Payne-Phalen neighborhood.

Officers had stopped the car Gaddy was driving at the request of Minneapolis police, who suspected he was on his way to deliver an ounce of crack cocaine.

Investigators say Gaddy started ramming police cars. Police opened fire, striking Gaddy several times. He died at the scene.
