ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - Today is primary election day here in Minnesota with several races to keep an eye on across the state.

Perhaps the biggest race statewide, the race for Sen. Amy Klobuchar's seat in Congress, Klobuchar is being challenged by three other Democrats, she's expected to beat them handily. Meanwhile, challenger Kurt Bills leads three Republicans vying to take on Klobuchar in November.

Closer to home, congresswoman Michele Bachmann is facing a primary challenge of her own, fellow Republicans Aubrey Immelman of Sartell, and Stephen Thompson from Lino Lakes are also running for that seat. Bachmann is also the heavy favorite -- with a victory, she'll take on DFL contender Jim Graves.

There are also city and county races in places like Sauk Rapids and Benton County, polls are open from 7 a-m to 8 p-m.
