ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A St. Cloud man accused of being part of a sex trafficking ring was tased while trying to flee a party.

Waite Park Police say around 10 on Friday night they learned 22-year-old Deandre Lamond Jones might be at a party in the 400 block of 29th Avenue North in St. Cloud.

Police say when they arrived at 11:54 pm Jones attempted to flee through a back bedroom and resisted officer.

Police used a taser to arrest Jones.

On July 13th, a teenage girl and Jones were arrested during a traffic stop in Fargo.

While talking to police the teen said she was driven by Jones and two others from Stearns County to Fargo to be sold for sex. A third person is also facing charges. All four have been arrested.

He is being held in the Stearns County Jail on a felony warrant for promotion of prostitution, a warrant for probation violation for being a felon in possession of a firearm conviction, and obstructing the legal process.
