ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The snow has moved out and now the arctic cold air has moved in to Minnesota.

St. Cloud picked up five inches of snow Wednesday--which was a record amount in the city for December 4th. The seasonal total is now at ten inches. And now we'll sink into the deep freeze.

Meteorologist Lisa Schmit  Wind Chill Advisory is posted for the St. Cloud area and central Minnesota from 6 pm tonight until noon Saturday. Wind chill values will drop to between 25 below and 35 below zero tonight into Friday morning and again Friday night into Saturday morning.

The morning low temperature by Saturday morning could drop to 15 below zero. Blowing snow will also continue today with northwest winds gusting over 20 miles per hour.
