ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - Renovation and expansion work at the National Hockey and Event Center has meant a change in plans for one local high school's graduation ceremonies.

Sauk Rapids-Rice High School will be moving into the smaller Halenback Hall. Prinicipal Erich Martens doesn't expect any issues though. The St. Cloud State facility should provide enough room for the 300 graduates, family members and friends who attend the May 29th graduation. Martens says tickets will not be issued.

Last year St. Cloud Tech and Apollo high schools moved their commencement ceremonies from Halenback Hall to the River's Edge Convention Center and that's where they'll be again this year.

Tech's graduation is June 4th, and Apollo's is the following day.
