ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A severe weather outbreak across central Minnesota Sunday night, although it missed the immediate St. Cloud area.

Tornado Warnings were issued around 5:30 pm for Benton, Mille Lacs and Morrison counties.

Funnel clouds were reported by trained weather spotters or law enforcement agencies seven miles north-northeast of Gilman and eight miles northeast of Rice.

Half-inch hail was reported at Pierz and Royalton. The heavy weather missed the city of St. Cloud though--with just .01 of an inch of rain being reported.
