ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Several blocks of a downtown St. Cloud street will be closed on Saturday morning as the city welcomes back its Olympic medalist.

The City Engineer's Office says West St. Germain will be closed from 4th Avenue to 10th Avenue due to the parade and motorcade for Alise Post.

The 25-year-old from St. Cloud earned a silver medal in Women's BMX at the Rio Olympics last month.

West St. Germain will be closed for approximately one hour, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The parade and motorcade will begin at the River's Edge Convention Center at 10 a.m. and head down West St. Germain Street.

It will then go north on 9th Avenue North, and then west on Veterans Drive.

The parade will end at the Pineview Park BMX track at 6540 Saukview Drive.

The track is operated by Post's parents and this weekend will be hosting the 7th Annual MS Race for the Cure.
