ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Tickets are on sale for a downtown St. Cloud rock concert which has been moved to early fall.

Takin' it to the Streets 2017 is Saturday, September 16th.

The 5th annual outdoor music festival on 5th Avenue usually takes place at the end of July, but a $1.67 million road project has the street closed until mid-September.

"And it will be kind of a big party to welcome the community back to downtown and check out the new streetscape and all the fun things that are happening because of that."

Dan Barth, concert organizer and owner of Pioneer Place on Fifth, says they started selling early bird tickets earlier this year but now all tickets are on sale starting Monday, July 17th.

He says some people he's talked with have thanked him for moving the event this year.

"Because you know, summers are hard on weekends, a lot of people go to the lakes, they have weddings, and everything else that goes on."

The four performers are Pamela McNeill, Mick Sterling, Dirty Word, and Grant Hicks and the 5th Avenue Review.

The concert gates open at 5 and the show goes to 11.
