SCTC CYCLONES 5 DELTA STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE 0 (7 Innings) (Orlando, Florida) March 9th

The 6'2 lefty from Dassel-Cokato High School, Michael Leffler started on the mound, he worked 5 innings to earn the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2 and he recorded 4 strikeouts. The 6'6 right hander from Moorhead High School, Michael Wiesmann closed it out with 2 innings of relief. He gave up 2 hits and he recorded one strikeout.

The offense was led by the freshman from Paynesville high school, Matt Quade went 1-3 with a big double to drive in 3 runs. Justin Barreneck a sophomore from Hialeah, Florida had a good game, he went 2-2, with a stolen base and he scored a pair of runs. Adam Gilsrud, the big lefty from Andover High School went 1-3 and he drove in a run. Justin Mohs a freshmen from St. Cloud Tech, went 1-2 with a double and the 6'3" sophomore from Doral, Florida went 1-3, he walked and he scored a run.


(GAME 1) SCTC CYCLONES 11 HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
(5 Innings) (Orlando, Florida)

The Cyclones Carlos Pierantoni, a 6'3 lefty a freshman from Cota Laurel, Puerto, Rico started and threw 5 innings to earn the win. He walked 3, gave up no hits and he recorded 7 strikeouts.

The offense pounded out 13 hits, Jose Rosario a freshman from Manati, Puerto Rico had good game. He went 2-3 with 2 doubles for 3 RBI's, he walked and he scored a run. Adam Gilsrud from Andover high school went 2-4 with a double for 3 RBI's and he scored a run. Mitch Kurth a sophomore from Hutchinson high school had a good game, he went 2-3 with 3 RBI's. Ethan Carlson a freshman and St. Cloud Apollo graduate had a very good game, he went 2-4 with a 2 doubles, he had a stolen base and he scored a pair of runs. Liam Owens a freshman from Minot, North Dakota went 1-2 with a double, he walked and he scored a run. Lukas Lanners, a 6'4" freshman from Eau Claire, Wisconsin went 1-4 with a double and he scored a run. Justin Mohs the St. Cloud Tech freshman went 1-3 and he drove in 1 run and Alex Jenkins a freshman from Altoona, Wisconsin went 2-2 and earned a pair of walks.

(Game 2) SCTC CYCLONES 8 HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE 2
(7 Innings) (Orlando, Florida)

The Cyclones starting pitcher, Bryce Boever, a 6'4" freshman from Cathedral high school threw 6 innings to earn the win. He scattered 3 hits, gave up 2 runs, walked 3 and he recorded 4 strikeouts. Another 6'4" freshman, Lukas Lanners from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, closed out the game, with 1 inning of relief. He retired the three batters that he faced.

The freshman from Hialeah, Florida, Daniel Nieto was a key leader for the offense. He went 2-4, with a home run and a double for 2 big RBI's. Another freshman had a good game, Zach Fuecker of Sauk Rapids, went 2-3 with a homer run, a stolen base and he scored a pair of runs. Matt Johnson, a freshman from Sauk Rapids, went 1-3 with 2 RBI's and Lukas Lanners the big freshman from Eau Claire went 1-2 with a double for a RBI, he walked and he scored a run. Alex Jinkins from Altoona, Wisconsin went 1-3 with a RBI and he walked and Mitch Kurth from Hutchinson went 1-2 with a sacrifice fly for a RBI and he had a sacrifice bunt. Ethan Carlson from Apollo high school went 1-4 and he scored a run, Adam Gilsrud, from Andover high school went 1-1 and he scored a run and Jose Rosario from Manati, Puerto Rico walked and he scored a run.


The Cyclones will be in action again on Saturday, March 11 when they will play Waubonsee Community College at 2:00 in Orlando, Florida. On Sunday March 12th they will play Nigeria Community College in a double hitter at 8:30 and 10:30.
