December 16th thru 21st


The Sabers topped Central Lakes Conference rival Fergus Falls 50-22 as they welcomed the return of Daniel Vitale back to the lineup. They traveled to Redwood Falls for the "River Riot" Invitational on Dec. 20th and Dec. 21st where they earned 100 points and had three lace winners to take thirteenth place in a field of twenty four teams. Rylee Molitor won the championship at 106, Jake Fernholz earned third place at 120 and Zach Motschke earned fourth place at 152.

The Spartans had a good week with a big win over Central Lakes Conference rival Brainerd 39-29. They traveled to Redwood Falls for the "River Riot" Invitational where they earned 104 points and they had five place winners to take 12th place in a twenty four team field of teams. Adam Kunz (113), Nick Warned (145) and Tyler Hoffman (285) all earned second places. Seth Klein earned third place at 182 and Cody Buermann earned fourth place at 138.

The Tigers had a pair of impressive performances as they topped three foes at the Spectrum Quadrangular. Grant Nistler, Noah Voigt, Austin Brenner and James Prince were all 3-0 at the Spectrum event. The Tigers hosted a triangular event last Saturday; they topped Central Lakes Conference and cross town rival St. Cloud Apollo and the Princeton Tigers again with very good performances.
