DULUTH, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud State jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead and never looked back in a 5-1 win at Minnesota-Duluth Saturday night to complete a sweep of the weekend series.

Jimmy Murray's goal 9:36 into the game gave the Huskies the lead for good. Brooks Bertsch's goal at the 15:57 mark made it 2-0.

David Morley, Cory Thorson and Ryan Papa added goals for St. Cloud State, which had a 27-20 edge in shots on goal.

Goaltender Ryan Faragher got the win in the nets for St. Cloud State. The Huskies improved to 11--1-2 on the season, and 6-1-1 in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
