NFL: Seahawks 27, Redskins 17

-      Colts vs. Texans is the match-up for Thursday night

-      Vikings will host the Lions on Sunday, Calvin Johnson looks doubtful

 

MLB:

Nationals 4, Giants 1 (San Fran leads series 2-1)

-      Game 4 is tonight, first pitch is at 8:07pm

Cardinals 3, Dodgers 1 (St. Louis leads series 2-1)

-      Game 4 is tonight, first pitch is at 4:07pm

 

-      The ALCS is set to start Friday night in Baltimore

 

-      Twins will interview Oakland A's bench coach Chip Hale to interview for the manager position

 

NBA: Timberwolves @ Pacers, pre-season

-      The league agreed to a new TV deal with TNT and ABC. It is a 9 year, 24 billion dollar deal

 

NHL:

-      The Wild cut Ilya Bryzgalov, but he may return to the team on another deal

-      They also signed Ryan Carter who played with the Devils last season. He is a Minnesota native from White Bear Lake

 

College Football:

-      The SEC fined Ole Miss 50k for rushing the field after beating Alabama. It is estimated that the new goal posts will cost the school 10k.

 

Olympics:

-      USA swimming has suspended Michael Phelps for 6 months following his latest DUI. He has entered rehab
