Sports for Monday, October 13th

NFL: Lions 17, Vikings 3

-       Vikings stunk on offense, gaining only 212 yards

-       Teddy Bridgewater went 23-37 for 188 yards and threw 3 INT's

-       Vikings gave up 8 sacks to the Lions defense

-       Loss drops the Vikes to 2-4 and will take on the Bills next Sunday on the road

 

Rest of the NFC North:

Bears 27, Falcons 13

-       Bears move to 3-3 behind Jay Cutler's 381 yards passing

Packers 27, Dolphins 24

-       Aaron Rodgers found Andrew Quarless for a TD with 2 seconds left in the game

 

Monday Night Football: 49ers @ Rams, 7:30pm on ESPN

 

MLB: NLCS: Cardinals 5, Giants 4 (Series tied at 1-1)

-       Game 3 is Tuesday night in San Francisco

-       ALCS: Game 3, Baltimore @ Kansas City, 7:07pm (Royals lead series 2-0)

 

College Hockey:

-       Huskies split the weekend series with Colgate

-       The Bob Motzko show is tonight live from the Green Mill in St. Cloud, starting at 6pm on KNSI

 

NHL: Wild are off until Friday

-       They stand at 2-0 and have yet to allow a goal this season

 

NBA: Timberwolves are off until Friday when they take on Nate Wolters and the Milwaukee Bucks

Boys Soccer: Tuesday Schedule

-       St. Cloud Tech vs. Anoka, 8-2A Section Final

-       St. Cloud Apollo vs. West Ottertail United, (@Apollo), 8A Quarterfinal

-       Bemidji vs. Sartell (@Bemidji) 8A Quarterfinal

 

Girls Soccer:

-       Sartell has won the 8A section and will be in the state tournament

 

Tennis:

-       St. Cloud Tech Tigers won the 8-2A Secion and will head to state

 

Football:

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: all starting at 6:30pm

-       Willmar @ St. Cloud Tech (Collegeville) on KNSI following the Scott Underwood show

-       Milaca @ St. Cloud Cathedral on 660AM

-       Sartell @ Apollo on 800AM

 

-       We will have High School Football playoffs when schedules are announced
