NHL: Wild 3, Jets 2

-       Win snaps a 5 game losing streak for the Wild

-       All three goals came in the second period for the Wild

-       Wild are off this evening, at the Blue Jackets tomorrow

 

NBA: Wolves @ Jazz tonight, 8pm tip off

-       Only Philadelphia has less wins in the NBA this season

 

College Basketball:

-       Mayville State vs. SCSU Women, pregame at 5:30pm on AM 1450 FM 103.3 KNSI

-       Iowa Weslyn vs. SCSU Men, following right after the women's game

 

College Football:

-       Texas A&M 45, West Virginia 37 // Liberty Bowl

-       Clemson 40, Oklahoma 6 // Russell Athletic Bowl

-       Arkansas 31, Texas 7 // Texas Bowl

Today's schedule:

-       Notre Dame vs. LSU, 2:30pm // Music City Bowl

-       Georgia vs. Louisville, 5:30pm // Belk Bowl

-       Maryland vs. Stanford, 9pm // Foster Farms Bowl

 

-       Michigan will announce Jim Harbaugh as head coach today. Harbaugh left the 49ers on Monday after a mutual agreement. Harbaugh was Quarterback at Michigan under Bo Schembechler

NFL:

-       Wild Card weekend starts off on Saturday afternoon

-       Lions Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh was suspended for the Lions playoff game against the Detroit Lions for stomping on the leg of Aaron Rodgers. Suh is appealing the decision

 

-       Bears, Jets and Falcons all fired their Head Coaches on Monday.

 

College Hockey:

-       SCSU returns home this weekend, a series you can hear on Lite Rock 99.9 as they welcome in Quinnipiac, coverage starting on Friday night at 7pm

 

Metro Sports Commission: The Granite City Showcase Hockey tournament is back in action today, and we have three games tomorrow starting at Noon on AM 1450 FM 103.3 KNSI
