NHL: Wild @ Blackhawks GAME 1 8:30pm
- Expect some overtime in this series as both teams played 4 OT games in round one
- Wild went 3-1-1 against the Blackhawks this season
- Chicago knocked Minnesota out of the playoffs last year in the 1st round
- Game 7 of Wild-Avalanche was the most watched game on Fox Sports North history, registering a 16.4 rating, and a 49 share (meaning almost half the TV's on at that time were on FSN) in Overtime.

- Bullpen wasn't much better giving up 4 earned runs in 5 innings of work
- Twins said after the game the team will reevaluate the rotation

- Kris Johnson made his MLB debut, 4 and a third, zero earned runs and walked 6
- Aaron Hicks left the game with a possible concussion after smacking his head against the wall
- Twins pitchers combined to walk 18 hitters in the two games

- Ubaldo Jimenez  (0-4) vs. Ricky Nolasco (2-2) is the pitching match-up

- According to sources, disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling has prostate cancer. League had its first meeting discussing the possible sale of the franchise, they will meet again next week.
NFL: Former Patriot Tight End Aaron Hernandez was indicted for alleged assault in prison. Hernandez is being held without bail after pleading not guilty for the murder of Odin Lloyd. 
- The NFL draft is next Thursday, the Vikings hold the 8th pick in the draft
- Vikings RB Adrian Peterson will be at the White House Correspondent's dinner
College Sports: 
- St. Ben's softball player Alexi Alm was named All-Academic of the 6th region
- Three SCSU Husky baseball players are up for All American honors, Chris Kubitz, Garrett Fischer and Mike Jurgella.
- The SCSU Baseball team was ranked 6th in the D2 Central Region
