NHL: Blackhawks 2, Wild 1 OT
- Patrick Kane scored on a backhand goal with just over 10 mins left in the 1st OT
- The loss was the 1st home loss for the Wild
- Erik Haula had the lone goal for the Wild
- Blackhawks will face the winner between the Ducks and Kings

NFL: Former Viking player Scott Studwell is stepping down as 'Director of College Scouting' with the Vikings, a position he had held for 12 years
- According to sources, the NFL is discussing with the NFL Players Association about lowering suspension limits for marijuana. 
College Sports: Former Minnesota QB Philip Nelson was charged with two counts of felony assault stemming from a weekend altercation in Mankato that put one man in the hospital with severe injuries. Nelson transferred to Rutgers this past off-season, Rutgers kicked him off the team Tuesday.
