Sports for Friday, May 30th

MLB: Rangers 5, Twins 4
- Twins drop 3 out of 4 to the Rangers
- Josh Willingham looked good, 2-3 with his first HR of the year and 3 RBI
- Twins now head to New York for a 3 game set
- Ricky Nolasco (2-5) vs. Vidal Nuno (1-1), first pitch at 6:05pm
- Comedian Louis C.K bought Babe Ruth's old house in the Hampton's for 2.49 million.
NBA: Spurs 117, Thunder 89
- All 3 games in San Antonio have been Spurs blowouts
- San Antonio now holds a 3-2 series lead
- Game was tied after one quarter, but San Antonio poured it on after that
- ECF, Game 6, Pacers @ Heat, Miami leads series 3-2, 7:30pm tipoff
- The Minnesota Timberwolves interviewed Vinny Del Negro for their vacant Head Coaching position. According to reports, he is a serious candidate for the job. That sound you hear is Kevin Love packing his stuff. 
- The Sterling family trust, which now controls the LA Clippers, has agreed to sell the team to Steve Ballmer for 2 Billion dollars. Current owner Donald Sterling was accused of making racist comments on tape last month and was banned from the NBA. Ballmer is a former Microsoft CEO and is valued at 20 billion dollars. The NBA will review the possible sale.
- According to an E-Poll that was released yesterday, Donald Sterling has a 92% disapproval rating
NHL: Rangers 1, Canadiens 0
- Rangers have now punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals
- WCF, Game 6, Blackhawks @ Kings, LA leads series 3-2, 8pm start
Things that are not sports: For the first time in 52 years, the Scripps National Spelling Bee ended in a tie. Sriram Hathwar and Ansun Sujoe were named co-champions after 12 rounds in the final. 
MSC: Boys Sectional Playoffs
6-2A: Cathedral 6, Oaskis 4, Crusaders will take on Little Falls Monday in the next round
8-3A: Brainerd 6, St. Cloud Tech 5, Tigers are now in losers bracket and will play Monday
NFL: Vikings OT Matt Kalil sat out OTA's with a knee surgery. He is expected to be fully ready to go by the open of camp.
- Matt Cassel worked with the starters, while rookie Teddy Bridgewater was in LA for a rookie seminar.
Northwoods League: Rox 5, Stingers 4
- Rox have jumped out to a 3-0 record on the season
- Rox are home this evening for their home opener against Willmar, first pitch 7:05pm
