ST. PAUL, Minn. (KNSI) - Despite continued hot play from Jonny Brodzinski, the Huskies fell to Minnesota 4-1.

Brodzinski extended his current point streak to 6 games thanks to his 12th goal of the season that tied the game in the 2nd period at one apiece. But the Gophers rode their lock down defense and two power plays goal to Saturday's championship game, where they will face Minnesota Duluth, who topped Minnesota Mankato 5-4 in overtime earlier in the evening.

The loss means the Huskies will play the early game, which will get started on AM 1450 FM 103.3 KNSI at 3:40.
