ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – The honors continue to roll in for the St. Cloud State Huskies. After wrapping up the first ever NCHC regular season championship with a Penrose Cup, some Huskies added individual honors to their mantles.

Senior forward Nic Dowd was named to the first team all-conference, after coming in 3rd in voting with 37 points, and 12 first place nods. Dowd has had a great season for the Huskies with 25 points in conference play while posting a +12 rating.

Goaltender Ryan Faragher was named to the 2nd team All NCHC, behind Denver net minder Sam Brittain. Faragher picked up two first team votes after posting a 2.53 goals against and leading the NCHC with 14 conference wins.

Lastly the future seems bright for Freshman Goalie Charlie Lindgren who picked up an All-Rookie spot with his limited play this season.

The Huskies take on Miami of Ohio Friday Night in the first game of a best of three in the first round of the NCHC tournament. The game can be heard on AM 1450 FM 103.3 KNSI at 7:10pm Friday night.
