ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - With first place in the NCHC on the line, St. Cloud State turned to their back up Goaltender Saturday night with fantastic results. With Ryan Faragher out with a lower body injury, the Huskies went to freshman back up Charlie Lindgren, who answered the bell, stopping 28 shots as the Huskies got the 4-2 win.

On the offensive side, the Huskies got goals from David Morley, Nic Dowd and the difference maker from Ethan Prow. Dowd added the icing on the cake with an empty netter late in the 3rd. In all five different Huskies tallied at least one point. With the win, the Huskies secure at least a share of first place in the NCHC heading into stretch run.

The Huskies now look ahead to next weekend when Minnesota Duluth comes into town, Williams Integracare pregame gets started Friday night at 7:10pm on KNSI. Bob Motzko joins Dan Terhaar on the Bob Motzko Coaches Show live from the Green Mill in downtown St. Cloud, and can be heard Monday night here on KNSI at 6pm.
