ROCHESTER, Minn. (KNSI) - The Winona State Warriors treated both St. Cloud State basketball squads poorly Sunday afternoon.

In the opening game of the Husky double-header, the women's basketball squad fell 58-40 to Winona State. Aaryn Booker led the struggling Husky offense in scoring with 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting. The loss drops SCSU to 3-6 in conference play on the season.

Despite overcoming a 14-point deficit and leading by one in the second half, the Husky mens squad lost their first place battle with the Warriors 87-77. Tim Bergstraser and Shaun Jensen both scored 16 points, while Tony Brooks and Conor Neihaus chipped in 14 off the bench. The Huskies dip to 7-2 in conference, sitting in second place behind Winona State and Minnesota State Moorhead.

Both squads return to action Friday on the road in Bemidji. Catch all the action on 1010 AM WMIN, starting at 5:30 p.m.
