COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. (KNSI) – A year after being a finalist for the Head Coaching position at St. John’s, offensive coordinator Kurt Ramler found a home as the Head Coach at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.

The move was announced Monday afternoon at a press conference at St. John’s. Ramler will replace Greg Carlson, the first coach at the school, who retired after last season.

While Rabler is looking ahead, he is very proud of the work he did at St. John’s “I hope that I helped in some small way in the transition from John (Gagliardi) to Gary. I enjoyed last season tremendously and I will miss the Saint John's and Saint Benedict community, particularly the players, alumni and coaches. I will always be proud to be a Johnnie."

This will be the second go round for Ramler as a Head Coach as he was the HC at Carelton from 2006-11.
