ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - St. Cloud State Athletics is hosting its annual spring football youth clinic in conjunction with the Husky football spring scrimmage on Saturday, April 26 at Husky Stadium.

This year the event is being billed as the Husky Spring Scrimmage and Fan Fest and will include an autograph session with members of the Huskies football and men's hockey teams. In addition the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Penrose Cup and the St. Cloud State/Minnesota State rivalry trophy, the Traveling Training Kit, will be on display.

The activities will get underway at 11 a.m. with clinic registration followed by the youth clinic from 11:30 to 12:30. From 12:15 to 1 p.m. the football and hockey athletes will sign autographs and at 1 p.m. the football spring scrimmage will kick-off.

Blizzard will also be on hand for photos. Inflatable activities and trampolines will provide the fun for everyone. The youth clinic and spring football scrimmage will be held in Husky Stadium and all other events will take place in Husky Pay Lot overlooking the south end of the stadium. Concessions will be available.

Huskies football and men's hockey season ticket holders will have the opportunity to renew their season tickets in person from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in the south ticket booth at Husky Stadium.

All these events are free and open to the public.

HereĀ is the rundown of events.
11 a.m. - Youth Football Clinic registration. This event is open to boys and girls in grades K-8. The first 150 to register will get a free Husky t-shirt. Huskies coaches and players will provide instruction.
11:30 - 12:30 p.m. - Youth Football Clinic
12 - 1:30 p.m. - 2014 Football and Hockey season ticket renewal in the south ticket booth of Husky Stadium.
12:15 - 1 p.m. - Autograph session, photos with Blizzard, inflatables and trampoline in Husky Pay Lot.
1 p.m. - Husky Football spring scrimmage.

Huskies football is coming off its most successful season in school history. Last fall St. Cloud State set school records for most games played and most wins in a season with a 12-2 record. The Huskies advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA football playoffs knocking off #4 Henderson State, 40-28 in first round action and #1 Minnesota State University, 54-48 in the second round. The Huskies faced eventual national champion in #2 Northwest Missouri State in the quarterfinals, losing to the Bearcats, 59-21.

The top-10 ranked hockey team won the inaugural National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) regular season championship with a 15-6-3 league record and marked the second straight regular season conference title for the Huskies. The Huskies also advanced to the NCAA Regional finals for the second straight year and finished the season with a 22-11-5 overall record. St. Cloud State played in a regional championship game for the third time since 2010.
