GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) Ben Hanowski scored two goals as St. Cloud State skated to a 2-2 tie with North Dakota on Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

It was the first tie of the season for St. Cloud State (15-10-1, 12-5-1), which beat North Dakota 3-1 on Friday to earn three of four points.

Hanowski scored on the power play just 3:08 into the game but fifth-ranked North Dakota (13-8-5, 8-5-5) got the next two goals by Danny Kristo and Corban Knight to take the lead by the end of the first period.

UND outshot the Huskies 15-8 in the first period and 36-18 in the game. North Dakota had just 16 shots on goal on Friday.

Ryan Faragher made 34 saves in nets for SCSU, including a series of stops in a scramble in the goal crease as overtime ended. He had three saves in OT.

UND's Clarke Saunders had 16 stops, one in the extra session.
