St. Cloud, MINN (KNSI) --- One car was totaled in a fire on the 2nd level of the St Cloud Hospital parking ramp. The fire was reported around 7:45 Thursday morning in the North Ramp.

According to St Cloud Fire Department Battalion Chief Jerry Raymond the car’s battery appeared to have shorted out causing the engine to start on fire.

The 1995 Dodge Intrepid was a complete loss and valued around $2,000 dollars. Two cars parked near the burning car were saved by fire fighters.

Fire crews were on scene for about 30 minutes. No one was injured.
