ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A woman is facing charges after allegedly slashing a man's tires and threatening to "cut him up and slice him to pieces" with a machete.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says Stephanie Rose Tomann was arrested on Tuesday, the day after the alleged incident in South Haven.

Investigators say the incident stemmed from a vehicle that was co-owned by one of the three people who showed up to collect it.

The victim told deputies that, once the three people saw him exit his residence, they broke his windshield and flattened his front tires.

He says Tomann then started chasing him, swinging the machete that she used on his tires.

The man was able to get away without any injuries.

Tomann, 27, of Annandale, was arrested on charges of 2nd degree assault and criminal damage to property.

Investigators say her vehicle was found and the machete was recovered.
